Having seen conspicuous success being converted to pointless failure by corporate internal redirection, and just as often the opposite, I am fairly sure small external corrections would have seen Ultimatum become the basis for solid opportunities.

As probably one of the few game developers who benefited from Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait, I'm with Rudyard Kipling with respect to failure and success.

Yes on the surface Ultimatum “failed” but to me it did exactly the opposite. I was lucky enough to work with you for two of those years and learn about a better way of working. You changed my working life forever and I will be forever grateful. That’s not failure.
